8 Days Congo Gorilla Trekking Tour starts at Kigali International Airport where you are picked up by a driver guide who takes you through a meet and greet session about the safari. You visit Virunga National Park, Kahuzi Biega National Park where you trek the Mountain Gorillas and Eastern Lowland Gorillas.
On arrival at the Kigali International Airport where you are welcomed and transferred by our driver guide to your lodge or hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Governor’s Residence Kigali.
Today enjoy breakfast then continue to Kigali for a city tour as you visit the various Genocide Memorials, National Museums, National Markets. While at the Genocide Memorials, you get to learn about the tragic Genocide in which many Rwandans lost their dear lives. The experience you get here is exceptional as you get different stories from the survivors and victims. Lunch is en-route then after, you shall return to lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Early morning breakfast then with your luggage embark on transfer to traverse the Rwanda Congo border to the famous Virunga National Park. You shall transfer for a period of 4 to 5 hours.
On reaching the border, finish with the border documentation into the DR Congo. You drive from the border to Virunga National Park via Goma Town and when you reach here, enjoy relaxation then check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibumba Tented Camp.
Early morning breakfast then transfer to the park headquarters where you are welcomed by park rangers who take you through precise briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas. He shall inform you about Virunga National Park, Gorillas and forest vegetation habitat.
Afterwards, he shall allocate you into groups of 8 with lead park rangers who transfer you to the starting point where you leave from to enter the forest to trek the Gorillas.
Trek these primates for a period of 3 to 5 hours traversing from one trail to another with rangers till you meet them. On meeting them, an hour is allowed in their presence taking many photos to keep about the adventure. After trekking the Gorillas, you shall return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Breakfast in the morning then embark on transfer to traverse to Bukavu Town then Kahuzi Biega National Park. You shall transfer for sometime till you reach the park and on reaching here, proceed to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Coco lodge.
Early morning breakfast then transfer to the park headquarters where you are welcomed and taken through briefing about the conduct around the Gorillas.
He informs you about Kahuzi Biega National Park, Eastern Lowland Gorillas as well as the flora and fauna.
After a while, you shall get to the park and trek the Gorillas for 3 to 5 hours following varying trails from one point to another.
After a while, you shall meet the Gorillas and in a period of an hour, take many photos to keep.
After trekking the Gorillas, embark on transfer back to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Coco Lodge.
Have breakfast then transfer with your luggage to traverse the DR Congo and Rwanda border. On reaching here, finish with the border documentation then later proceed on journey to Rwanda’s Kigali. On reaching Kigali, check-in hotel and relax till Dinner and Overnight. Governor’s Residence Kigali.
Have breakfast and travel back to Kigali city. The journey still gives you spectacular views of the green lush along the high way, having stopovers in several places of interest for pictures and short tours. After the precise adventures, proceed to the Kigali International Airport to board flight back home.
