Detailed Itinerary of the 7 Days Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Safari
Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Your Driver-Guide reports to your hotel for start of the safari, with a 8am transfer to the luxurious Sweetwater’s Tented Camp located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, world famous for their wildlife conservation efforts and for their collection of amazing wildlife which includes the only place in Kenya and most of East Africa where one can spot chimpanzee in environments close to their native forests. Arrive at the hotel, for check in after which you enjoy a sumptuous lunch. At 3pm embark on an adventure filled safari game drive inside Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Return to the camp by dusk at 6pm for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Early morning game drive in Ol Pejeta Conservancy
You will be taken on two game drives today, one in the morning from 6.15am to 9am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30pm to 6.30pm including a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary.
Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active. As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible, convenient if travelling with children or if on a honeymoon when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some of the days. Return to the camp by dusk at 6pm for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Lake Nakuru
Depart after breakfast for the scenic Lake Nakuru National Park, a bird and rhino sanctuary, and home to a variety of wildlife. This lake is famous for its pink flamingoes. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. A late afternoon game drive will allow you to see the park’s rich, diverse wildlife. You will also be taken to a cliff view point overlooking the lake.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
After early morning game drive and a relaxed breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake which is a popular tourist spot in Kenya for locals and foreigners alike. Arrive in time for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure – the lodge we book at the lake offer beautiful natural spaces where you can see numerous bird species among the trees as well as spot some animals ranging from waterbuck to warthogs.
You may also choose to book a one-hour Lake Boat Safari at extra cost during which you get to see some of the lake’s wildlife such as hippos as well as enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highland landscapes.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara
After an early breakfast, the safari now heads to Masai Mara. Arrive at your camp in Masai Mara for a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3.30pm, allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the reserve ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Our Driver-Guide will try his best to show you not just the ”Big Five” animals but the ”Big Nine” as well. Return to your tented camp by 6.30pm.

Day 6: Early morning game drive in Masai Mara
You will be taken on two game drives today, one in the morning from 6.15am to 9am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. As your safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible, convenient if travelling with children or if on a honeymoon when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some of the days. You may also choose to have a full day game drive with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost.

Day 7: Return to Nairobi
After a relaxed breakfast and check out. Proceed with return road transfer back to Nairobi with a brief morning game drive en-route. Arrive Nairobi by early afternoon. Drop off at your hotel, or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
