Breakfast in the morning then head across the Great Rift Valley’s floor, up the escarpment and traverse the Ngorongoro Conservation area to the vast popular Serengeti National Park. After a while, reach Serengeti National Park with endless plains, to the Lobo area situated North of the Seronera area (central Serengeti National Park).
The wildebeest migration in the park takes place in the Lobo area annually around July / August. They are always migrating to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve and again in late October / November en-route to Southern Serengeti National Park.
Breakfast in the morning then proceed towards the western part of Serengeti National Park also referred to as the Western Corridor. We will do a game drive en-route from the Seronera area to the Western Corridor area. You shall reach the lodge in the afternoon then later, enjoy an afternoon game drive. The wildebeest migration in the Western Corridor takes place in the months of Late April to May then June or early July, according to the rainfall patterns. After breakfast in the morning enjoy a full day game drive in the Western Corridor. The key feature in the Western Corridor is the Grumeti and Mbalageti rivers, running almost parallel to each other, each support a band of evergreen forest. The rivers sustain a permanent game population of zebra, wildebeest, all the predators and birdlife. It is also possible to find large pods of hippos and huge crocodiles in the Grumeti River. The wildebeest normally gather around waterholes midmorning in such densities, that they look like ants swarming around a nest. After game drive you proceed back to central Serengeti. Early morning breakfast then transfer to enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive in Serengeti with a lunch and leisure break at the lodge in the midafternoon. While on Game Drive, you shall watch various wildlife animals like leopard, lion, wildebeest, zebra, hyena, hippo, giraffe, eland, impala, antelope types, baboons, monkey and cheetah as well as various species of birds i.e eagles, ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, stork, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes and guinea fowl. After you Game Drive in Serengeti, you shall transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area located close to the park. On reaching here, check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Morning breakfast then proceed to the park to enjoy a Game Drive along the varying tracks watching wildlife animals wander around their natural habitat. You watch these on Game Drive as you traverse from one track to another. The wildlife you watch include; wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, giant African elephants etc. After the Game Drive, you shall transfer with you luggage to Arusha in your hotel for Dinner and Overnight. You shall have breakfast then continue to the Arusha International Airport. On reaching here, you shall board a flight to fly you to Uganda at the Entebbe International Airport where you meet our driver guide who transfers you to your hotel. Today is Gorilla Trekking Day at Bwindi Forest National Park: You wake up early in the morning have breakfast then with packed lunch, you shall transfer to the park headquarters where you have precise briefing about the conduct around the Mountain Gorillas.
After the briefing session, the park ranger guide allocates you into groups of 8 with lead park ranger guides who lead you to the starting point where you leave from to enter the green forest to trek the Mountain Gorillas.
Trek the primates for a period of 3 to 5 hours following varying trails from one point to another. The trails lead through thick forest vegetation until you meet the Gorillas and in an hour stay in their presence taking many photos to keep. Stay at a distance of 7 meters and take your photos quietly. After a period of 1 hour in their presence, you shall proceed to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge.
Early morning breakfast the with luggage embark on transfer to Kampala. Transfer for a period of 8 hours via Mbarara highway watching the green terrain vegetation, bird species as well as lunch en-route at Agip Motel.
