Detailed Itinerary of the 9 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Amboseli safari
Day 1: Pick up from the airport or Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Your guide will meet you at the airport/Nairobi and drive to Amboseli National Park. You may have lunch enroute or at the lodge depending on the time to leave Nairobi and later have an evening game drive in Amboseli National reserve. The Park is famous for its big game and scenic beauty with the landscape dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro. It offers an interesting contrast with its dry and dusty appearance, which can be attributed to the volcanic ash that came out of Mt Kilimanjaro when it last erupted.

Day 2: Game drives in Amboseli National Park
Spend a further day in the park on morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Wildlife here includes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo among others. There are also over 400 species of birds, including the bee-eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle, martial eagle and pygmy falcon.
Amboseli is excellent place for visitors to watch the huge herds of elephants. The bull elephants have some of the largest tusks in all of Kenya. Visitors can also enjoy excellent views of Mt Kilimanjaro and Meru.

Day 3: Transfer to Aberdare
Today, you will drive to Aberdare National Park, lunch at Aberdare country club and later for an afternoon game drive. The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker.

Day 4: Transfer to Samburu National Park
After breakfast, proceed morning game drive and you will transfer to Samburu having enroute lunch and arriving the park later for evening game drive.

Day 5: Samburu national reserve
Today, you will have a morning game drive. The reserve is popular with minimum 900 elephants and is rich in wildlife with fame for abundance in rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx. Visit the community of Samburu for cultural experience.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Early breakfast then check-out and leave Samburu National via Nyahururu waterfalls to Nakuru Town. Have Lunch and proceed for afternoon game drive at Lake Nakuru. We have to make a stop over as we cannot manage to drive from Samburu direct to Maasai mara.
Among other animals found in the park include rhino, lion, leopard, flamingos, Egyptian geese, waterbuck, giraffe, hyena, buffalo, baboons, vervet monkeys, gazelles.

Day 7: Transfer from Lake Nakuru and transfer to Masai Mara
After breakfast at the hotel check out and leave Nakuru region for Maasai Mara, you will see Lake Elementaita, Lake Naivasha and Mt. Longonot on the way before you arrive at View Point. You will have lunch at Narok Town. Proceed to the game reserve, check in followed by afternoon game drive for at least 3 hours. This game drive will be done till sunset

Day 8: Full Day Masai Mara
Today, you will do full day game drive in this spectacular reserve. The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone, also called The Great Migration, involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor is almost assured to see the Big Five in the Mara.

Day 9: Transfer from Masai Mara to Nairobi
Today you will have a morning game drive and later drive to Nairobi for your international flight out.
