After arriving at the Kigali International Airport where you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you for a journey that takes you a period of 2 to 3 hours to Volcanoes National Park. Morning breakfast then transfer on journey to the stunning Kinigi District at Volcanoes National Park known to offer amazing Gorilla Trekking Adventures. You follow the deviating terrain landscape, canopies and rolling hills for a journey of 2 to 3 hours till you reach the park. On reaching the park, proceed to go to the Gorilla Guardians village where you get to engage in performances with the local Rwandans as they introduce their culture and traditions through music, dance and drama. Today is Gorilla Trekking Day: Wake up early morning then transfer to the park headquarters at Kinigi. When you reach here, you are welcomed by park ranger guides who offer you a cup of hot tea, cappuccino, milk tea, coffee and snacks then takes you through precise briefing about the conduct around the Mountain Gorillas.
After briefing, he shall allocate you into groups of 8 with lead park guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest to trek the Gorillas. Follow varying trails in the thick forest vegetation for a period of 3 to 5 hours depending on the reported location of the Gorillas.
After a while following these, you shall later meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence for an hour taking many photos to keep. After trekking the Gorillas, you shall return to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Bisate Lodge.
Today, you get to watch another primate species i.e the Golden Monkeys. You wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the Kinigi park headquarters. On reaching here, enjoy a cup of hot coffee, hot tea, cappuccino, milk tea then get through briefing on conduct around the Golden Monkeys then later he shall locate you into groups of 8 with lead park guides who transfer you to the starting points. Leave the starting points and enter the forest to trek the Golden Monkeys for a period of 2 to 4 hours along varying trails with green terrain watching birds.
After a while, you shall meet the Golden Monkeys and stay in their presence following them on various trails as they jump from one tree branch to another. Take many photos of them as they communicate, play, forage, breast feed, copulate, lead an adventure so exceptional. After being in the presence of the Golden Monkeys, you shall transfer back to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Bisate Lodge.
Morning breakfast then continue to Nyungwe Forest National Park. You shall drive for a period of 5 to 6 hours watching the green terrain, bird species as well as have lunch. You shall reach Nyungwe Forest and transfer to check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Nyungwe View hill top hotel.
Wake up early have breakfast then transfer to the park headquarters for precise briefing on conduct around the chimpanzees. On reaching here you are welcomed by a park ranger guide who informs you about Nyungwe Forest, Chimpanzees as well as flora. Afterwards, you shall be allocated into groups of 8 with lad park ranger guides who take you to the starting points where you enter the green forest to trek the chimpanzees for a period of 2 to 4 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are.
After a while following varying trails, you shall meet the chimpanzees and stay in their presence taking various photos to keep for a period of 1 hour. After trekking the chimpanzees, you shall return to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Nyungwe View hill top hotel.
