After arriving at the Kigali International Airport where you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you for a journey that takes you a period of 2 to 3 hours to Volcanoes National Park. Today is Gorilla Trekking Day: Wake up early morning then transfer to the park headquarters at Kinigi. When you reach here, you are welcomed by park ranger guides who offer you a cup of hot tea, cappuccino, milk tea, coffee and snacks then takes you through precise briefing about the conduct around the Mountain Gorillas.
After briefing, he shall allocate you into groups of 8 with lead park guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest to trek the Gorillas. Follow varying trails in the thick forest vegetation for a period of 3 to 5 hours depending on the reported location of the Gorillas.
After a while following these, you shall later meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence for an hour taking many photos to keep. After trekking the Gorillas, you shall return to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Bisate Lodge.
