Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Arrive at the Entebbe International Airport then get picked up by a driver guide who transfers you for a journey that takes you a period of 7 to 8 hours till you reach Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. En-route view the green terrain vegetation, bird species as well as have lunch break at Agip Motel Mbarara. After a while, you shall reach the park and continue to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Ikoro lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking at Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Today is Gorilla Trekking Day: Wake up early morning then transfer to the park headquarters. When you reach here, you are welcomed by park ranger guides who take you through precise briefing about the conduct around the Mountain Gorillas.

After briefing, he shall allocate you into groups of 8 with lead park guides who transfer you to the starting points where you leave from to enter the green forest to trek the Gorillas. Follow varying trails in the thick forest vegetation for a period of 3 to 5 hours depending on the reported location of the Gorillas.

After a while following these, you shall later meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence for an hour taking many photos to keep. After trekking the Gorillas, you shall return to the lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Ikoro Lodge.
